Senica media suite overview

The following systems are available separately or as a suite, enabling a 'front-to-back' media management system. The components are all web based and branded to look like and seamlessly work alongside any existing site you may have - they can even appear as part of that site. As far as the artist, writer or client is concerned they are dealing directly with you.

Please also get in touch if you are interested in digital asset management which can function as an extension of this suite.

You do not have to install any additional computer equipment on your site apart from perhaps an upgrade of your current computer speakers or a lead to your hifi.

A&R Tools

A&R Tools is a comprehensive demo management system for record labels and publishers of all sizes.

A&R Tools was created to be the fastest most efficient way to review artist and writer demos. It not only makes listening to unsolicited demos viable but helps you organise and manage material from existing artists and writers. It resolves the issues often associated with accepting raw demos i.e. piles of physical demo packs, blocked email boxes and spammed links. The system also records what has been listened to and automatically encourages via email, the highly rated writers and artists to upload more material. If these rated artists subsequently submit more material it is flagged so you know you should pay it special attention! The ability to review subsequent tracks in the context of other material submitted by the same artist or writer is a big plus. A track on its own may not spark significant interest but when listened to alongside material previously submitted it may well do so.

Many artists and writers who are ultimately signed come from contacts so A&R Tools also allows you to provide a simple personalised drop box so you get to hear any new material before anyone else.

A&R Tools can be configured in a number of ways depending on the size of the company. For larger companies, the system can be set up so front line A&R do the bulk of the reviewing. Tracks of interest get passed up the line to more senior A&R. For smaller companies, a single user option will help you manage all your demos and clear the demo pile! Artists and writers register and upload their mp3s, pictures, videos, biographies and any gigs they have. You can specify a number of settings including the maximum number of tracks to be uploaded at any one time. The system then merges the tracks and pictures so they can be efficiently streamed without the need to download anything. As the tracks play, the pictures sequence. If you’re interested in a track then you can rate it and/or use any number of other functions including sending it on to others at your company, adding comments, downloading it or simply filing it for future reference. Anything you have reviewed is logged so you don’t waste time reviewing it again. If you're not interested you can simply skip to the next track. While tracks are playing you can follow links to the artist full profile page or their own websites.

ePitch

ePitch allows you to send pitches that appear to the recipient as tracks available on what looks like your company's web site. The recipient opens the pitch by clicking a link on an email that appears to come from you, he or she can then play the individual tracks or play the whole playlist of tracks. When the recipient plays the tracks the system records when, and for how long each track was played. The recipient can rate the tracks and also send feedback notes directly to you. You can subsequently view any feedback and a number of other statistics and have a better understanding of what material to pitch in future!

You can directly add tracks from artists and writers who have submitted material via 'A&R Tools' or you have the facility to directly load material.

A pitch can include as much or as little information as you like e.g. the tracks themselves, information about the tracks, composers and licensing information. You can optionally allow recipients to 'drill down' to view writer profiles and other material available from a writer or artist. For each track you can also include any number of stings or versions and also pitch these.

You can keep all your pitches and subsequently search on any aspect. e.g. if you want to get a list of pitches a writer or song was included on then this is immediately available. You can also search and report on any aspect of your catalogue of tracks, your roster of artists and writers, the pitches you have sent and the tracking information recorded about usage.

cShare

cShare allows you to share your catalogue of tracks or clips with others on what looks like your company's web site. You can either share the whole catalogue or you can create zones and give a particular user or set of users access to a sub set of your entire catalogue. Users can then use comprehensive search tool to search the available archive for suitable material.
